Your CurseForge instances, already there

On first launch, CurseForge's folder is detected: its instances appear beside yours and start without moving or copying anything.

Your CurseForge instances recognised: They stay managed by CurseForge: renaming and deleting them is done from its application.
Isolated instances: Each instance has its own version, loader and files. Libraries, assets and Java runtimes are pooled between them: the same gigabytes are downloaded only once.

CurseForge and Modrinth, one search

Mods, modpacks, resource packs, data packs and shaders, searched across both catalogues at once.

Two catalogues, one search: Results follow the instance's version and loader, and install straight into it. Whatever a mod needs to run is installed alongside it.
Modpacks: A modpack installs as a new instance, game version and loader included. Files whose author forbids distribution outside their own site are flagged, to be added by hand.

The whole instance on one page

Mods, worlds, logs and settings: everything about an instance is handled from its page.

Mod version tracking: Every mod reports when a newer version exists for your Minecraft. Update mod by mod, or the whole instance in one gesture.
Worlds and data packs: Each world with its size and last visit. A data pack is applied to it without opening the Windows explorer.
Integrated logs: Game output shows inside the application, with the logs of previous sessions. No console opens in the background.
Instance files: The instance folder can be browsed from its page, with the same browser as the Files page.
Per-instance settings: Memory, Java arguments and optimised flags. A new instance can start with your usual settings — language, render distance, key bindings — already in place.

Accounts and updates

Several Microsoft accounts side by side, and an offline username to play solo without signing in.

Microsoft and offline accounts: Official device-code sign-in: the code is shown large, and a button opens the Microsoft page where you enter it.
Built-in updates: Checked on startup and then every quarter of an hour, downloaded in the background — only the difference — and applied on the next restart. You decide only when.

Windows warning on first launch

The installer is not signed with a commercial certificate, so SmartScreen will report “Windows protected your PC”. Select “More info”, then “Run anyway”. This warning disappears as the download count grows.
